INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS:
An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
JOB SUMMARY: This position plans, develops, and executes menu planning for the School Division. This position designs specific menus for all grade groupings and production sites. This position modifies planned menus as needed for students with special needs and provides guidance for the school staff on meeting the needs of the students on special diets. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with USDA menu patterns. This position manages and maintains the data in the ingredient item file, recipe file, POS item file; and food production plans for the “Back of the House†food service functions. This position prepares bid specifications in collaboration with the Purchasing Department to secure vendors to provide needed food to school locations. This position manages food service contracts, coordinates vendor delivery schedules, and oversees vendor performance.
Job Description
SALARY:
Hiring Range: $57,284 – $80,727/year ($30.55 – $43.05/hour)
DAYS: 250
FULL TIME/PART TIME: Full Time
