Job Description : Status: Full Time – ExemptSchedule: Monday – Friday – 7.5 Hours/Day, 260 daysSalary: Starting at $48,426.67 – $53,808.20Please apply on our website for further consideration – www.caiu.org/employmentPURPOSE OF POSITION:The Capital Area Intermediate Unit is seeking a Online Learning Support Specialist. This position is in the Capital Area Online Learning Association (CAOLA) program that is part of the Educational Services team at the CAIU. CAOLA is the largest online learning consortium in the state and currently serves over 10,000 students and 150 schools/districts/programs. This position will work closely with all CAOLA team members, customers across the state of Pennsylvania, and industry professionals. The Online Learning Support Specialist will plan, create, and conduct face-to-face and virtual training to large and small groups of various ages. They will also be responsible for maintaining the CAOLA course catalog and providing customer support with data and curriculum requirements. A person in this position will present at regional and national conferences, actively collaborate with stakeholders, and become an expert in online learning. We are looking for someone with a confident personality that can successfully lead projects, meet deadlines, and is comfortable presenting to colleagues and industry professionals.KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS:Education Required: Bachelor’s degree; Experience with online learning programs is preferred; Experience in developing, coordinating, and conducting training; Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; and Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Zoom software experience.Job Type: Full-timePay: $48,426.67 – $53,808.20 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
