Job Description : We are hiring a Payments Operations Support Specialist. No experience in payments is required. The main requirement is that this individual be open to learning new things. We will teach this person everything we know about payments, but that still won’t be enough as every problem will be a little different from the last. No two days will be the same. The landscape in payments is constantly evolving, which can be exciting yet overwhelming. We embrace the change and we’re looking for someone with the same mindset. We think differently, solve problems in innovative ways and want someone who is eager to jump in and be willing to help as needed.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist the underwriting department as follows: Ensuring all requirements are met as per our underwriting guidelines, following up with our sales partners to obtain additional information pertinent to merchant applicationsAssist the risk department with investigations related to chargebacks and other merchant activity.Assist with onboarding of new merchants and partner sales officesAssist with terminal deploymentField and resolve customer service inquiries from merchants and partnersOUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:Someone who is naturally curious and eager to learn new things.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesHas strong mathematical skills as well as basic Word, Excel, and browser proficiencyProfessional and clear communication skills, both written and oral.
