Position : Print Producer, Marketing

Job Description : The Print Producer manages mid- to high-complexity print projects from procurement, production to delivery. This includes consulting and assisting business partners through solving print marketing opportunities such as, channel selection, product specifications, costs, schedules, labor, and material requirements, identifying and resolving risks and issues impeding project progression and delivery. The Print Producer will source projects from approved suppliers to ensure high-quality print products are produced that are consistent with the Publix brand, marketing objectives, and strategies while keeping projects within budget and on time to retail stores and customers. The incumbent will help in identifying potential sourcing needs and conveying those requirements to the print management team. Responsibilities include:
Supporting and driving implementation of the Print Production Procurement Strategy
Managing mid- to high-complexity Print Production projects from procurement to delivery
Responsible for print production supplier relationship management
Contributing to the analysis of print production metrics to track trends and promote continuous quality improvement
Dedicating time to Marketing innovation and quality improvement
Managing special Marketing Operations related assignments, which can include but is not limited to project management, executing reporting, and presenting results to Marketing leadership
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business Administration or Fine Arts, or equivalent experience
2 years’ experience with print production procurement practices AND 2 years’ experience working in an advertising agency, marketing, or printing facility
knowledge of the print and fulfillment industry, its services, capabilities, and operating structure including printing and manufacturing processes (e.g., printing presses, materials, bindery, and finishing equipment) and trends
knowledge of project management principles
knowledge of warehouse, logistics, and distribution systems
knowledge of purchasing process and supplier relationship management practices
problem solving and strong negotiation skills

ability to work well under pressure
ability to be flexible and adaptable
willingness to travel up to one week at a time with overnight stays
