Job Description : Summary: Performs repetitive inspection and testing operations of automotive components.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. Works at different work stations as the operation needs require and for cross training. Performs confirmation of correct part, correct quantity, and correct container. Responsible for proper set-up of testing equipment. Performs quality checks including checking for lot dates, rattles, short shots, flash, scratches, discoloration, excess grease, cracked/broken parts, and incomplete parts at a pace consistent with the established rate set by the department manager. Packs components in various types of containers. Performs function of job by using PC, scanner and scales.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other associates of the organization.Computer Skills: Basic knowledge or the ability to learn the use of touch screen computers and scanners as to perform the job.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
