Job Description : Helping Individuals Succeed provides home and community based services to adult individuals with intellectual disability and senior care members. H.I.S provides an array of services to our individuals including,; transportation, Personal Care, Respite, Licensed Residential habilitation, Behavior Supports, and much more. H.I.S works with the Office of Developmental Programs, Office of Long-Term Living and Managed Care Organizations.Helping Individuals Succeed (H.I.S) is looking for a competent Program Coordinator to undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks. You will help in planning, organizing and managing of programs and activities as well as carry out important operational duties. To be an excellent program coordinator, you must be organized and detail-oriented, comfortable working with diverse teams. If you have skills in program development and human resources support, we’d like to meet you. The goal will be to facilitate the effective management of programs according to the organization’s standards, state regulations, and internal and external policies.ResponsibilitiesSupport planning and coordination of a program and its activitiesEnsure implementation of policies and practicesMaintain budget and track expenditures/transactionsManage communications through media relations, social media etc.Help build positive relations within the team and external partiesSchedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agendaEnsure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)Prepare paperwork and order materialKeep updated records and create reports or proposalsSupport growth and program developmentImplement policy and procedureAssist with referralsTake place in recruitment and terminationsScheduling/On-Call ResponsibilitiesOversee Department Supervisor/ManagersAttend/Facilitate internal/external trainingsEnsure programs are being ran in accordance to regulatory standardsEnsure employee and individual satisfactionOther job related to task assigned by DirectorSkillsProven experience as program coordinator or relevant positionKnowledge of program management and development proceduresKnowledge of budgeting, bookkeeping and reportingTech savvy, proficient in MS Office able to develop and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheetsAbility to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teamsExcellent time-management and organizational skillsOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsDetail-oriented and efficientFamiliar with Electronic Visit Verification systemsFamiliarity of Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Care PlansSome knowledge using HCSIS, EIM, HHAeXchange, and other state databasesAble to process payrollIncident ManagementCompletes all required monthly documentation, including but not limited to: monthly reports, fire drills and attendance trackingMaintains a safe, sanitary and therapeutic environment for all individuals servedEducation and Experience*Minimum, Bachelor’s degree preferred in human services (i.e., Social Work, Psychology) from an accredited college or university.Three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory position, preferred.Demonstrate ability to provide leadership and organizational skills.Computer literate and proficient in using applicable software.Must have a valid driver’s license.Helping Individuals Succeed LLC reserves the right to revise or change job duties and responsibilities as needed.
