Job Description : Commercial General Construction Contractor, Patner Construction, Inc. based in Fairfax, VA seeking unique experienced individuals for two Full-time Project Manager positions.One available in our Fairfax, VA office and one available in our Denver, CO. office.Positions are “High Priority.” Immediate start upon hire.The ideal candidate takes ownership of the project from conception to end result, is required to possess excellent computer, organizational, multitasking skills, and must be self-motivated and has effective problem solving skills.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:High level of familiarity/experience with Healthcare constructionManage multiple assignments simultaneouslyDeliver projects on time and under budget while achieving the highest level of client satisfaction and qualityProactively and effectively communicate with clients and project teamPlan and manage all technical and administrative aspects of mid-size construction projectsAnalyze project requirements and supervise all activities related to contract administration, change orders, cost estimating, submittals, procurement and project scheduleCoordinate and manage the bidding and proposal processPrepare contracts and negotiate revisionsMonitor, maintain and track project budgets and schedulesSupervise project close out and all related deliverablesExperience in cost and scheduling software such as Primavera, Viewpoint and MS Office.REQUIRED SKILLS:2+ years of experience managing projects within commercial constructionAbility to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contractsBasic accounting principles and budget managementPersonnel managementEffective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external contacts;SOFTWARE SKILLS:Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Knowledge of Viewpoint Construction Software is preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of BlueBeam Software is preferred, but not requiredCOMPANYPatner Construction, Inc. has provided construction services in the Washington, DC metro area since 2000.
