We achieve our quality standards through defined workflow processes, direct access to on-staff project talent and, quality assurance expertise, backed by an uncompromising commitment to offer the most responsive customer service in the business.Who We’re Looking For: We have an outstanding opportunity for a full-time experienced Proofreader with knowledge of the healthcare industry to provide support for our in-house creative team. The Proofreader works to ensure that all the digital and print deliverables which our team creates for our clients meet our high standards of quality and accuracy. This will include scientific posters, PowerPoint presentations, event collateral, and other design and layout projects. The Proofreader must possess a very high detail to attention and be able to multitask effectively in order to meet the deadlines of our clients.Responsibilities: Review and compare our digital and print deliverables against client-supplied content to ensure that the work we produce is accurate and correct.Review the formatting of our deliverables to ensure that the layout is consistent and that the design adheres to our clients‘ style and branding guidelines.Identify and mark corrections that need to be made to digital proofs so our team can incorporate the revisions.Review revised digital proofs to ensure that all corrections have been implemented.Read and interpret client requests and direction for each project.Produce and deliver with quality a high volume of work with pressing deadlines and aggressive time demands.Manage the workload, set expectations, and communicate job status to the team for each project. See every project through to completion on a daily basis.Characteristics: Self-motivated and able to proof quickly and accurately under tight deadlines.Great organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage workload and juggle multiple projects.Good communicator and able to contribute on conference calls and write effective emails to both clients and our team.Team player that enjoys working with others when needed.Comfortable in a small business environment with an entrepreneurial spirit that can add value to their work.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree3 years’ experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe AcrobatNice to have: Experience working in the life science industryExperience with the AMA Manual of StyleWorking at CMW: Intimate team of dedicated, hard-working individuals who work as a team to achieve their goals.
