About the DWS Research House
The Research House team reports to the Head of Investment Division. It comprises of CIO for Responsible Investments, House of Data, Research Institute and Micro Research. The team is responsible for a wide range functions that supports the investment management platform. It also creates and maintain relevant tools for the performance analysis & produce required MIS.

Responsibilities:
As a Data Analyst you will be part a team that will analyses the holdings and portfolio data to measure the climate transition impact and its progress as per DWS targets.
Build from scratch analytics and business intelligence tools that can be used for investment decision related topics (e.g., Carbon Intensity of Portfolios)
Ensure operational excellence – that is: timely and accurate production of information / MIS. Contribute to ongoing methodological and technological improvements of our approach
Prepare and compile documentation on methodologies.
Support ad-hoc requests on various analytical topics by leveraging existing tools in additional to XLS and PPT
Support regular creation and automation of standard reporting
Education and Experience:
Post-graduate or international equivalent degree in Finance or quantitative discipline. CFA would be an advantage
Academic background in IT engineering, statistics and mathematics or similar
Experience in sustainable investing and ESG data analysis
Advanced visualization and presentation skills in a leading BI platform – knowledge of Qlik Sense is an advantage
Strong analytical skills with engineering mindset
Advanced Proficiency in MS-Office
Good business acumen, with the aptitude to successfully translate between technical and non-technical audiences including a good understanding of the model lifecycle from discovery to deployment
Passionate about responsible investing/stewardship and having positive impact
Competencies:
