Job Description : $200.00 Hiring BonusWe are looking for a meticulous, detail-oriented service coordinator to evaluate the needs of our consumers, make recommendations for new services, and suggest improvements to existing services. The service coordinator’s responsibilities include advocating for the client’s care, explaining the available options, helping to plan services, and keeping records of the services offered.To be successful as a service coordinator, you should be service-oriented with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be able to deal with our clients with empathy and compassion.Responsibilities for Service CoordinatorAssess the service needs of clients and connect them with the correct providerCreate and maintain a database of clients and client needsAssess client issues and provide recommendations to fix problemsEnsure each client is given the necessary services and follow up to fill ongoing service needsMaintain good relationships with service providers and clients to keep customer baseExpand the list of resources and providers to assure there are no gaps in servicesAnswer telephones and respond to email inquiries in the officeTravel to clients home for assessments (Travel may include trips to Anchorage)Qualifications for Service Coordinator1-3 years of industry experience or a related customer service experience requiredPrevious administrative experience preferredProficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft ExcelExcellent customer service and problem-solving skillsHigh quality organizational skillsThe ability to work well under deadlines and to multitaskThe ability to build relationships and coalitions within the communityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills’Job Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 – $21.00 per hourBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Signing bonusEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Willingness to travel:50% (Preferred)Work Location: One location
