Job Description : This is a full time, hands-on development program for those interested in kicking off a career in the rapidly-evolving digital marketing industry. Think of it as a foot in the door at a rapidly growing agency with limitless opportunities for mobility and ownership. During this 12 week, paid training program on our Shopping & Feeds team, you will be immersed in the world of digital marketing, further developing your skills in Excel, data analysis, and communication. Our Shopping & Feeds team is responsible for the creation of our client’s Google Shopping Ads, refining the data responsible for powering the eCommerce initiatives of some big names across retail. Our apprentice program first focuses on the ins and outs of digital marketing, data analysis, Google Ads, Shopping campaigns, and feed management. Once you have a strong foundation of industry-leading training and best practices, your day-to-day will transition to hands-on account work as you assist account managers with tasks necessary to drive performance and brand growth. This program will provide you with foundational knowledge and training necessary to take on a Shopping & Feeds Analyst role with us at the end of the 12 week apprenticeship (pending performance).

As a Shopping & Feeds Apprentice, You Will:

Receive training on the Socium Way, learning the ins and outs of our Shopping & Feeds division and how it contributes to the overall paid media strategy and success of our clients
Create, audit, and optimize the data feeds that fuel our Shopping campaigns
Become an Excel boss, you’ll feel like Mozart in his prime while your fingers dance across hotkeys and formulas without a single touch of the mouse
Conduct search query reports, analyzing brand performance to define best sellers for campaign segmentation
Assist with the Shopping portion of multi-channel clients alongside other Socium team members
Support in strategy and insights on client calls
Work alongside leaders on some of our larger accounts
Develop, communicate, and execute strategy, set up meeting agendas, build customized reporting, optimize, and be an ally to our clients

Skills & Experience

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to analyze data and draw conclusions that fuel brand strategy
A true go-getter, someone who takes the initiative to raise their hand and make an impact on day 1
Independent problem solver that learns quickly when facing obstacles, works diligently to identify pain points and develop solutions
Analytical thinker – always asking the “why” and not afraid to speak up
Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, bonus points for knowledge of Excel functions such as: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS formulas
