Cordova has an awesome small town community feel, lots of hunting, fishing, skiing, hiking and other outdoor activities readily available.Highly competitive salary with eligibility for employer health insurance.For more information and complete job description please visit our website: _ http://eyak-nsn.gov/jobs/_Responsibilities/Duties: Perform clinical sonographic services by locating, evaluating, and recording pertinent anatomical, pathological, and functional data using ultrasound equipment to aid physicians in diagnostic procedures.Maintain ultrasound equipment and sterilize the room in which the procedure takes place.Evaluate the images for their quality.Present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team.Use Electronic Medical Records for day-to-day record keeping, which includes accurate entry/scanning of information into patient charts as well as ensuring information is only released to authorized entities.Maintain high levels of confidentiality are required and must be in accordance with HIPAA and HITECH, including all applicable regulations.Supports and facilitates positive interaction with others as evidenced by: professional maturity, respect for others, a team-centered approach, maintenance of confidential information and an appreciation of a variety of viewpoints and diversity in the workplace.Attends QI/QA and other clinical committee meetings.Required to assist with outreach efforts and other NVE organized events which may be outside of regular scheduled hours.Other duties as assigned.Ultrasound Tests to be performed:AbdomenOB/GYN (Obstetrics and Gynecology)Transthoracic echoVascular TechnologyBreastExperience RequirementMust have a minimum 2 years’ experience in medical diagnostic sonography including cardiac.Education RequirementMust hold a minimum of Associates degree in medical diagnostic sonography from a school accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and be registered with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical SonographyJob Type: Part-timeExperience:Sonographer: 2 years (Preferred)Education:Associate (Preferred)
