Job Description : Duties
Monitors assigned supply/equipment management program for supported areas to ensure adequate reserve of expendable supplies and equipment are on hand at all time to meet mission requirements.
Prepares purchase requests, processes both government credit card and purchase orders requests; ensures that information pertaining to items, description, price, quantity, etc., is correct and funds are available.
Maintains related expenditure accounts, in addition to accurate records of all authorized expenditure of funds and supporting document files.
Assists in the provision of all activities associated with the supply, warehousing, hand receipt documentation, inventory, and equipment management ranging from initial procurement to final disposal.
Properly documents all excess property identified for redistribution and/or disposal.
Ensures regulations are followed in the proper processing, tracking, storing, conveying of property, and disposition services for final disposal.

This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.

Qualifications
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-07) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.

Specialized Experience ishaving knowledge of policies and practical concepts, fundamentals, and procedures relating to facility services and supply programs, planning and equipment management functions, operations, and program requirements.

Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
GS-9 Substitution of Education for Experience: Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education, Master’s or equivalent graduate degree, may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
