We are looking for an experienced professional learning expert who loves coaching educators in educational technology and is committed to creating transformative experiences. You will be part of a highly cross-functional Apple Professional Learning team with the responsibility to co-design and deliver a cohesive worldwide technology integration coaching program. You are an educator, with deep experience in curriculum design, pedagogy, and professional learning with the ability to successfully collaborate with Education Marketing, Education Sales, Social Initiatives, Retail, and PR. This position is home-based and can be located in any major city within the US.
Key Qualifications
8+ years of experience designing and leading educational professional learning opportunities with a focus on K-12 pedagogy.
Ability to create end-to-end learning experiences and build a consistent learning journey that truly shapes the future through a coaching model.
Expertise in collaborating cross-functionally with partners of different backgrounds and perspectives while ensuring alignment and consistent messaging across multiple stakeholders.
Superb writing and editing skills, with deep knowledge of instructional design models while developing complex scope and sequences from scratch, independently.
Broad expertise in global K12 educational technology to support online and in-person training for multicultural audiences.
Proficiency with Apple’s ecosystem and presentation software applications, including Pages, Numbers, Keynote, iMovie, GarageBand, and Clips.
Ability to learn, navigate, and create within learning management systems with little to no oversight to analyze build, edit, and assess curricula for all different learning environments (asynchronous and synchronous, classroom-based and virtual).
Passion and self-motivation, with excellent organizational, time/budget management, and communication skills.
Ability to seek out ways to analyze and create data points to ensure a quality program and to drive timely decisions.
Exceptional decision-making abilities, tenacity, conviction, and attention to detail.
Description
As a member of the Apple Professional Learning Team, you will: – Design, write, edit, and deliver Apple Learning Coach (ALC) content for educators who support professional learning in their district and/or school. – Collaborate with existing content teams to ensure success of the ALC learning objectives through engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning. – Build relationships and foster a passion for instructional coaching with a worldwide network of educators who have a desire to become an ALC. – Develop valid modes of assessment that correlate to learning objective and assist with vetting and updating assessments as needed. – Ensure quality assurance of the program along with legal and ethics compliance of all Apple Learning Coaches. – Stay up-to-date on and apply best practices in educational technology, learning theory, and instructional design.
Education & Experience
– Masters degree or equivalent experience required – Doctorate preferred
Additional Requirements
Proven experience in education, instructional design, educational leadership, and/or educational technology with success as a classroom teacher in a one-to-one technology learning environment, principal, assistant superintendent, instructional leader and/or curriculum consultant.
