Job Description : FRANKLIN COUNTYHas an opening for:Archive Director Full Time$49,712.00 – $63,606.40Franklin County seeks a motivated, service-driven individual to lead the Archive Department and manage a state-of-the art facility that houses critical county records for internal operations and the public alike. The Archive Director is responsible for the complete records management of all County departments under the jurisdiction of the commissioners, elected officials and courts. This includes properly preserving records as well as managing an appropriate disposal system. The Director also manages the day to day operations of the Archives Department.RequirementsBachelors or advanced degree in public administration, history, government, library science, or related field with course work in archives/archival management. Two years’ experience in Government Records Management work preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience with identifying records management problems, analyzing the alternatives, presenting recommendations, and assisting with implementing recommendations, along with experience at communicating and dealing effectively with people at all organizational levels.About UsFranklin County is a great place to live and work!
