Boeing Security & Fire Protection (S&FP) is currently seeking an Associate Industrial Security Specialist to join their team in Tukwila, Washington.
Primary Responsibilities:
Send, receive and process classified materials while confirming relevant paperwork for those shipments are completed as required
Ensure relevant stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities within the classified shipping process
Conduct audits of accountable material as required
Assist with the destruction of classified material as necessary
Additional Responsibilities:
Assists with Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements
Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action
Assists in the protection of government, intellectual, third party and company information from unauthorized disclosures
Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements on less complex programs
Assists in Physical Security duties and responsibilities within Boeing facilities (e.g., complete fixed/closed facility checklists/survey areas, review and approve facility drawings for new or remodeled classified areas) to ensure compliance with company and government regulations/requirements
Assists in sub-contractor management to ensure compliance with government regulations/requirements
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years or have been enrolled in a Continuous Evaluation program such that periodic updates are no longer required
Experience working in a classified environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
Experience in Industrial Security
Experience in the handling and safeguarding of classified information
Understand and embody a “customer service” attitude
Attention to detail
Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $65,600 – $94,300
