Job Description : Patel Consultants is seeking a Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant to work with our leading home furnishing client located in Middlesex County, NJ (very commutable to Mercer County as well).Hybrid Opportunity (3 days in-office and 2 days work from home.)Extremely friendly, family-like office environment.6-7 month contract assignment, possibility of transitioning into a long-term position.Responsibilities: Input AP invoices and process payments & allocations.Perform AP check runs, arrange bank wires, and ACH payments in a timely mannerPull AR remittances from customer portals.Make all bank deposits.Apply customer payments to AR ledger and allocate payments to correct invoicesPerform AR collections and pursue aged debtInvestigate/reconcile customer chargebacksRecord day to day financial transactions and complete posting processPerform daily bank reconciliationsReconcile inter-company ledgers monthlyCollect and distribute mail dailyAd hoc projects as assignedRequirements: Strong Bookkeeping skills.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus, but not required.Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook.Job Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 – $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: One location
