Job Description : Description:
Operators are responsible for inspecting finished cookie or wafer products for quality and ensuring product is properly packed for shipping. The operator job requires repetitive movements, such as bending, turning and twisting, as well as the ability to stand or walk between 8- 12 hours a day. Operators must be able to detect audible tones and alarms, and they must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Operators begin training at a rate of $16.73 an hour, with the ability to achieve $19.35 within six months. Several levels of advancement within the role are available, with top operator pay at $24.26 an hour.
