Job Description : Reports to: HR Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $71,000 – $88,000
Position Summary
The Corporate HR Generalist provides support to the company in: staffing, compliance, employee relations, organization development, and training. This position provides specific regional support to the Rocky Mountain, Southwest, and Texas Regions. Builds strong relationships with managers and provide HR strategic guidance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Corporate Support (~70%):
Provides excellent customer service to employees and managers. Answers or provides direction on HR questions regarding pay, benefits, policies, and HR practices.
Advises and consults with managers on employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, legal risk, and documentation.
Completes compliance, AAP, EEO-1, and VETS-100 reporting, compensation surveys and turnover metrics.
Provides direction and collaborates with Regional HR Representatives on all HR processes, procedures, policies, and training to ensure they meet ISEC standards.
Evaluate criminal background checks, review and research negative reports, and advise Manager of situation and process
Answers unemployment questionnaires and participates in unemployment hearings.
Assists with the termination process and conducts exit interviews.
Stays current on employment law changes as well as federal compliance. Ensures all federal, state, and local compliance requirements are met.
Champion for ISEC values and culture, works with Corporate and Regional management to develop a positive employee culture.
Develops and runs reports from JDE system as needed.
Optimize the use of technology and develop tools to minimize transactional HR activity.
Actively participates in business process improvements.
Provides back-up support for Benefits Administrator as needed
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Compile recruiting metrics and dashboards for total company.
Regional Support (30%)
Assists the region in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures.
Provides regional support for employees and managers to complete performance evaluations and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
Responsible for recruiting support for Corporate, Rocky Mountain, Southwest and Texas regions. Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and fill open administrative and field positions.
Screens resumes, interviews candidates, administers appropriate assessments, completes reference checks and administers pre-employment tests. Refers qualified applicants to hiring managers for interviewing. Facilitates the job offer and new hire process.
Coordinates onboarding and conducts regional orientation efforts for all new hires.
Meets with new hires and direct manager to ensure new hire’s first year training, support, and development plans meet standards. Tracks new hire development progress.

PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field
5-8 years’ experience in Human Resources/Benefits
3-5 years’ full cycle recruiting experience
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
A bachelor’s degree
5 years’ experience in Human Resources/Benefits
3 years’ full cycle recruiting experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to travel up to 20% to attend career fairs and provide regional support
Ensures a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrated proficiency using Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems
Ability to pull data and create reports from various systems
Maintains high level of confidentiality
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven relationship building skills and excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with desktop applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, etc.) used in producing reports, analysis, recommendations, and solutions
Excellent verbal, written, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively under deadlines
Customer Service Skills
Demonstrates commitment to deliver outstanding service – both with internal and external customers
Takes ownership to personally resolve customer problems (or find someone who can)
Listens well, asks clarifying questions, and checks for agreement with customers
Committed to following-up with customers in all instances in a timely manner
