Position : Customer Service Representative

Job Description : Summary: The person in this CSR role is the face of our Company. The CSR represents Midwest Filtration while serving our customers and acts as the point of contact for our customers in the areas of sales orders and order fulfillment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Daily customer contact – daily communication with customers to ensure demand visibility, order accuracy, fairness of price, quality of goods, timely shipment updates, and quality of service provided.Contract Review/Order Entry – receive orders from Salespersons or Customers and perform contract review and enter these requests into systems.Order Acknowledgement – review customer orders and availability of inventory and determine whether we can meet or exceed customer requested ship dates; communicate with customers and help them understand Midwest promised ship date; with a focus on responsiveness.Coordinating with production – working with Sales and Production to address any issues with when orders are expected to be filled and ready for shipment.Quoting – provide pricing and quotes to customer on standard items. Requires use of standard pricing scales and basic math skills.Inside Sales – working with existing customers either when they call or calling existing customers to follow up and determine if they require more of a product or service. This includes taking the order and entering it into the system.Troubleshoot any problems customer may have with an order or order fulfillment.Other projects and duties as may be assigned.ISO: Actively participates in the Bid/Quote Process which has been identified as a Key Process.Actively participates in the Contract Review Process which has been identified as a Key Process.Actively participates in the Customer Satisfaction Process which has been identified as a Key Process.Assist in Development of any ISO related policies/procedures for your function.Adhere to Company ISO policies/procedures.Document all procedures in an acceptable and accessible format.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications/Competency: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
