DB2LUW DBA interacts with functional representatives, Systems Administration and Programming, and Applications Development project teams to apply data operations requirements to support the effective storage and retrieval of data. He/She works independently on one or more highly complex database environments. DB2LUW DBA investigates complex problems, monitors performance, contributes to back-up and recovery procedures, creates reports, and configures and installs database software. Database Analyst must be able to understand and articulate complex technical issues. Planning and organizational abilities are required in the course of carrying out their duties when working on multiple projects simultaneously
