Position : District Manager in Training (DMIT)
Job Description : With Insomnia Cookies on the precipice of explosive growth in 2022, we are adding several District Manager in Training roles to the organization within the markets below. The District Manager in Training (DMIT) will be responsible for achieving business results through supporting and directing multiple store teams on delivering warm, delicious cookies to our customers while creating a great customer experience and employee experience.
Locations : Southern California, Northern California, Oklahoma, New York City, New Jersey, Boston, Atlanta & Cleveland metro areas
Responsibilities
Directly oversee/manage one store in market while providing overall leadership, coaching and direct supervision of approximately 2 – 3 Insomnia Cookies stores within a local region, to ensure that each store meets or exceeds their period sales forecast goals.
Achieve business metrics and objectives including sales growth, staffing, delivery times, customer satisfaction scores, uptime, and inventory control.
Heavy emphasis on supporting stores in terms of improving both the employee and customer experience.
Recruit, hire, train, and develop top-tier talent.
Maintaining 25-minute delivery times or better (warm, delicious, delivered).
Supporting and executing courier usage strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners within the organization.
Assist in effectively managing labor and controllable expenses.
Consistent execution of Operational Standards, HR Policies, Procedures, and Processes.
Requirements
2+ years of multi-unit restaurant, retail or hospitality management experience.
Full proficiency with P&L management.
Hands on leadership style; shoulder-to-shoulder in the bakeries with the teams during our most important peak times and have the ability to work in all positions for an extended period of time.
Ability to travel within the region and at times stay overnight in another market that needs support.
Proficiency in computer skills, including e-mail, Word, Excel, Applicant Tracking Systems, etc.
Strong communication and talent development skills.
