Job Description : If you are self-motivated and enjoy working in a team environment this is the job you!Hillsboro Transport is looking for experienced, dependable NEMT drivers. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.Hillsboro Transport’s requirements for qualified drivers are as follows: Must be 26 years of age or older with a valid and active driver’s license for the State of Ohio with less than 6 points on record, as you are required to obtain commercial insurance.Our drivers are sub-contractors therefore you will supply your own four door vehicle.Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check and have a negative drug screening.A high school diploma or equivalent is required.Must have current CPR & First Aid training or be willing to become certified.Hillsboro Transport is a door to door service so the applicant must be able to lift and assist without any medical restrictions.At times you may be required to assist clients as needed in and out of vehicles along with lifting wheelchairs and walkers.Job DescriptionPlease read the entire Job Description below to understand what will be expected of you.**This is an Independent Contractor Position (1099) and you will be using your own vehicle to transport our customers.** Keep in mind that you are able to write off your mileage, meals, and more which can be very beneficial at tax time! Our FT drivers make very competitive wages!———————————————————————————————————————Job Description: Drivers are responsible for transporting passengers and patients to and from medical and assisted living facilities, using their own vehicles.Maintain high-quality patient care by carrying out established policies and procedures.Conduct him/herself in a professional manner at all times while interacting with the patient(s).Respond promptly to assignments as required via cell phone.Maintains, organizes, and ensures that vehicles meet regulatory standards.Ensures vehicles are stocked with appropriate safety supplies, protective and cleaning equipment.Ensures company records, files, and documentation is completed accurately and timely.Advise the Dispatcher promptly of any operational problems.Responsible for adhering to all company policy and procedures.Performs necessary equipment maintenance, if applicable.Resolve service complaints and issues with our office staff.There will be on the job training, and mandatory ONLINE basic courses required for this position.Experience working with elderly is a plus.Maintain proper appearance and attire.Display Hillsboro Transport magnets on your vehicle at all times when in service.Demonstrate good problem-solving and the ability to think on your feet.Inspect your vehicle regularly.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, ContractPay: $700.00 – $1,500.00 per weekBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:All drivers and customers are required to wear a mask, curbside pickup available, common surfaces are sanitized regularly.Application Question(s):What about this position made you want to apply?What makes you a good candidate to become a driver for Hillsboro Transport?Are you willing to complete a pre-employment background check?Are you willing to complete a pre-employment drug screening?If selected when are you available to start working?Drivers are required to use their own 4 door vehicle for this postion.
