Customer Service Specialist 2
If you are ready to put your exceptional customer service skills to work, we need your talent and enthusiasm to provide customer service support and assistance in our local Vancouver office.

Join the Developmental Disabilities Administration today and be part of our hard-working team of professionals. In this fast-paced environment, you will provide customer service and resolve concerns and answer questions from clients, public, community partners, providers, and staff.
Some of what you will do
Act as a liaison to resolve client complaints, inquiries, and customer service issues
Greet visitors to the office and refer to appropriate staff, meeting room, or office
Provide the public, clients, providers, and customers with explanations on forms, pamphlets, and other materials
Answer multiple line phone system, directing callers to appropriate staff in a courteous and professional manner
Respond to email and voicemail messages
Coordinate building and office meeting room space and maintain calendars
Review computer-generated reports for accuracy and completeness, review and prepare data dissemination to the office
Prepare labels for files and prepare purged files to be sent to the Records Center and retrieve files
Maintain state vehicles by bringing them in for vacuum and wash; call and schedule service appointments or windshield repairs
Provide filing support for Case Resource Managers
Who should apply?
High school graduate or GED equivalent, + 4 years of progressively responsible experience in customer service, office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, or general administrative work
Or, Associate’s degree, + 2 years of progressively responsible experience in customer service, office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, or general administrative work
Or, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or an allied field
Or, Equivalent office experience (4 years minimum)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite with efficient/effective typing skills
Experience with multi-line phone systems
Effective and flexible communication skills
