THANK YOU.Position: The Douglas County School System is seeking creative and energetic ESOL Summer Learning certified teachers to engage students in our Summer School ProgramPAY GRADE: Certified Teacher’s Hourly Rate: No less than $35.00 per hour.REPORTS TO: Principal/DirectorEDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor’s Degree or higherCERTIFICATION/LICENSE: Valid teaching certificatePHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Routine physical requirements to fulfill the job.PRIMARY FUNCTION: To provide instruction for students that enables them to learn and achieve to the maximum of their abilities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Utilizes the summer school lesson plans provided by the Curriculum and Instruction Department.Review latest resource guides on effective instructional best practices.Provide input into the coordination of classroom activities.Provide input into the planning and development of the program.Assists in the reinforcement of specific skills.Monitors assignments.Creates or modifies instructional materials.Manages classroom behavior.All other duties as assigned.Job Type: Full-timePay: $35.00 per hourSchedule:Day shiftWork Location: Multiple Locations
