Job Summary: This position serves as the district’s chief human resources officer, planning, organizing, directing, and administering all human resources functions including the areas of staffing, recruitment, selection, equal opportunity employment, staff diversity, compensation, employee benefits, personnel data management and employee discipline. The Executive Director is responsible for compliance with district human resources policies, procedures, and practices; collective bargaining agreements; and federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding human resources. This cabinet-level position is accountable for the overall success of the Human Resources Department in accomplishing the District’s strategic goals and assists in developing short and long-term goals for the District with a strong equity lens. Salary: $200,769 – $210,933 (NASCOED Salary Schedule; Level II); FLSA-Exempt

Work Year: 12-month position; 260 days per year

Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package including paid vacation and holidays, Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for health insurance is based on an anticipated 630 work hours during the school year.
