Position : Full Time Dog Walker/Day Shift
Job Description : We are a pet care company, located on the Upper West Side, that specializes in dog walking. We are looking to hire a new dog walker to join up with our team. The position requires a training process which focuses on: complete knowledge of dogs, skills for successful client interactions, and general preparation for the rigors of the job.Dog knowledge will focus on behavioral traits, breed details, psychology of dogs, physiology of dogs, stages of life, and common dangers to dogs. Client interaction training will concentrate on how to deliver the best service to clients, proper understanding of various environments, and conflict resolution.This is a full-time position for a Monday-Friday, daytime walker. We are not currently considering Seasonal or Part-Time walkers. This job includes physical exercise. We are looking for a person capable of the following:· Walking up the stairs of a 5th floor walk-up building· Safely lifting 40lbs· Walking around for a full work day· Maintaining constant focus· Actively participating in social interactionsDo you have any condition that may interfere with performing these tasks regularly?Due to the public and interpersonal nature of our business, we are looking to hire someone that has received a vaccine for COVID-19.
