Job Description : We are a small high volume piercing studio who gets booked up a two weeks in advance in the summer time.The Gallery Assistants are the back bone of our studio. They are the first person to greet the client as they come into the studio and they are the last person the clients will speak with before they leave. From picking out the perfect jewelry for their piercing, to assisting in paper work and communicating client needs to the piercer, the gallery assistants are a vital part of our team.GA Responsibilities:-Welcoming clients into the studio-Checking for proper identification-Communicating client needs to the piercer(s) on staff-Assisting clients with jewelry selection-Setting up/walking clients through release forms-Maintaining gallery cleanliness (dusting, sweeping, moping, trash ect.)- Setting up client accounts-Entering jewelry selection into QuickBooks Point of Sale-Running the entire sale through to completion-Cash handling and maintaining a balanced cash drawer-Credit card processing and tip handling-Writing up aftercare pamphlets-Direct client communication on Podium-Sending follow up text messages-Notify Piercers/Supervisors/Management of messages that are out of your frame on knowledge to answer-Answering our studio landline phone-Assisting supervisor with checking in and putting out jewelryThese are all general tasks but different things can pop up day to day!Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Bonus payTipsCOVID-19 considerations:All clients are required to show proof of vaccination and a valid ID to come into our studio, we also require everyone in the studio to wear a mask for their entire visit.Shift availability:Day Shift (Required)Work Location: One location
