Job Description : Job Summary: The HR Assistant will work with the HR Manager to accomplish critical tasks in the company’s Human Resources Department. This position will require you to work out of our Orlando, FL office daily. Our company is looking for candidates with at least 1-2 years of work experience in the Human Resources field. Our company is a nationwide security guard service that protects the assets of our clients.Job Compensation: The compensation for this position is hourly at a rate of $20. After a probationary period, all eligible employees will have the ability to enroll in our company’s medical, vision, and dental benefits program as well as our company’s 401(k) program.Duties/Responsibilities: Assist with ensuring that all active employee personnel files are compliant with local, state, and federal employer regulationsAssist with ensuring that all new hires are registered in accordance with local, state, and federal employer regulations related to security guardsAssist with posting requisitions for open administrative and security officer positions for assigned regions of the companyAssist with screening applicants for open administrative and security officer positions for assigned regions of the companyAssist with scheduling interviews for open administrative and security officer positions for assigned regions of the companyAssist with onboarding new hires to ADP Workforce Now in accordance with local, state, and federal employer regulationsAssist with providing general administrative support for recruitment, new hire onboarding, and employee benefits administrationAssist with maintaining employee personnel files and recordsAssist with employee counselingAssist with resolving employee pay disputesAssist with conducting employee performance reviewsAssist with performing other clerical duties as neededRequired Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacyAbility to function well in a high-paced and stressful environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office application usage (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)Proficiency in HRIS application usage (ADP Workforce Now)Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred1-2 years of work experience in the Human Resources field is preferredOur company policy is to provide equal opportunity to all persons without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, citizenship, sex, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, marital or family status, veteran status, physical or mental disability, or other protected classes prohibited by applicable law.
