Position : IT Administrator I
Job Description : Meridian Cooperative is seeking a IT Administrator to help lead Vision 2025 within our Technology division located in Dunwoody, GA.
The company was formed in 1976 by a group of Electric Membership Cooperatives with a vision for a single enterprise solution provider to serve data processing, IT, and operational needs to cooperatives, public utility districts, and municipal utilities. Through carefully curated acquisitions and partnerships, the company has unified multiple leading-edge companies under its umbrella in order to truly execute that vision. Today, the Meridian Co-op Suite serves over 500 utilities across the country with industry leading enterprise software solutions.
Supports external and internal customer applications and servers to ensure they work within specifications. Builds, deploys, configures and installs internal systems for other departments. Addresses initial customer support requests that fall outside the scope of other external support departments. Troubleshoots application errors with customers and works with third party vendors to resolve issues.
Maintains systems operations by monitoring, evaluating, and adjusting user authentication, permissions, and name records for internal and external systems.
Resolves systems problems by determining cause and possible solutions; assisting end-user and/or technical support staff; collaborating with other systems administrators.
Determines hardware configuration by studying, analyzing, and evaluating system factors, such as number of users, reporting requirements, volume of transactions, access restrictions, cost constraints, and security conditions.
Supports help desk staff by resolving trouble tickets; confirming fix with end-users and/or help desk staff; eliminating problem repeatability.
Bachelor’s Degree with 1-2 years of IT experience.
