Job Description : Growth-oriented managed service provider company located in San Diego is seeking an IT Customer Support Specialist with exceptional customer service skills. This position is full-time.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The IT customer support specialist will be responsible for answering calls, responding to support tickets, providing support information, and helping the customer by being informative, empathetic, and eager to quickly solve a customer’s problem.Primary responsibility will be to provide excellent and friendly phone response, and email ticketing response.Ability to respond to customer tickets, answer calls, and generate detailed tickets for the IT team to act on.Provide a basic level of troubleshooting for workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals, such as smartphones as needed.Administrative tasks include ticket documentation and desktop support documentation.Additional Duties and Responsibilities: Answer and manage incoming calls and emails.Excellent customer care and focus; ability to assess customers’ needs and provide the correct answer, path, troubleshooting, or method for a positive customer experienceAbility to learn and follow all customer service procedures and policiesStrive to meet and go above personal and team targets, goals, and quotasRecord, organize and file customer interactions in our ticketing systemProvide excellent customer service, perception, and satisfactionAbility to work in a team and communicate effectivelyAbility to build rapport with clientsResponsible for entering time in ticketing system as events occurAssisting with desktop support setups and projects as neededUnderstand processes in ticketing and monitoring systemsKnowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required: Information Technology related certifications, degree, or similar experience preferredPrevious experience in customer support, client services, IT, or a related field preferredAbility to answer the phone, listen actively, relay information, and type basic information simultaneouslyExcellent phone communication skillsBasic computer skills and experience with tracking and recording call information, and updating support ticketsExcellent time management and prioritization skillsExperience with MS Windows 10/11 and MS Office.
