Position : Patient Care Advocate- Westerville or Remote
Job Description : Job Summary: This Patient Care Advocate position is responsible for answering incoming calls and scheduling, rescheduling and canceling patient appointments.Job Duties: · Greets patients/callers on the phone· Directing calls to the proper locations· Schedules patients with all Ortho Neuro physicians· Schedules assigned electronic referrals; referral tracking and follow-up· Maintain patient information and data integrity· Communicate with Medical Secretaries regarding add-ons patients and/or issues· Other duties as assignedJob Requirements: · High school diploma or equivalent· A minimum of one year of experience in scheduling preferred but not required· Healthcare experience preferred· Medical terminology highly preferred· Phone experience required· Must be professional, detail-oriented, have exceptional phone skills, strong communication skills, and be able to handle a very fast-paced environment· Knowledge of Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Physiatry and/or Interventional Pain Management preferredCompany Information: OrthoNeuro is a Multi-Specialty Center of Excellence specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.Founded over 80 years ago, OrthoNeuro was the first private physician group in Central Ohio to provide a multi-disciplinary center of board-certified physicians specializing in orthopedic surgery, neurology, neurosurgery, pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
