Job Description : COME AND JOIN OUR TEAM!A Premier Ophthalmology Practice in downtown San Mateo has an immediate opening for a Full-time Patient Care Coordinator position.We are a high volume practice looking for a self motivated and dynamic person with exceptional interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills. This position requires an ability to adjust to responsibilities based on daily needs.Requirements:* Relevant experience preferred, however willing to train the right candidate.* Organized and detail-oriented.* Able to coordinate patient flow efficiently and handle daily schedule in a timely manner.* Multi-tasker with “can do” attitude.* Must be a team player and work harmoniously with others.Essential Duties:* Handing all duties of the front desk, i.e., checking patients in and out, collecting payments, booking follow appointments.*Performing the following diagnostic tests: Visual Field, OCT/RNFL, Fundus Imaging, Macula Photos, Topography.* In charge of patient flow/escorting to the exam rooms and diagnostic testing suites throughout the day.* Assisting MDs with patient care.* Working closely with Ophthalmic Technicians in coordinating patient flow.* Keeping exam rooms clean and disinfected based on CDC guidelines.* Autoclaving surgical instruments on a weekly basis.Other duties as assigned.Physical demand: this position requires being on your feet throughout the work shift.We offer a competitive compensation, medical and dental benefits, paid parking, profit sharing plan, no work on weekends, ONE physical location.COVID-19 considerations:All patients and employees are wearing masks (employees – surgical grade and N95s), social-distancing, using hand sanitizers and washing hands frequently.Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountRetirement planTuition reimbursementSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsCOVID-19 considerations:All patients and employees are wearing masks (employees are wearing surgical masks or N95), surfaces are sanitized regularly, patients and employees are distanced per CDC guidelines.
