Position : PCB Layout
Job Description : PT Contract position $45.00 an hour
End Product: Two designs on 4x4x0.662” FR4 4-layer.
Freq <1MHz
Supplied: Schematics
Basic component and connector placement.
Layer stack-up.
Required Output: 2 boards that are DRC error free.
Gerbers/Drill guides etc for the two boards.
Adherence to design rules of selected board shop. (Probably Advanced circuits)
Design rule file.
The use of Altium is strongly preferred.
Experience with high density complex, multilayer boards (6-16 layers);Experience with layout of analog and digital circuits;Experience with layout/routing of high speed digital and controlled-impedance circuits;Experience with rigid-flex, flex designs;Ability to prepare artwork (ODB++, Gerbers) for fabrication of PCBs;Extensive experience with footprint/symbol creation and library management;Understanding of IPC-2221 and IPC-7351 specifications;AA/AS degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
