The political season is underway in New York City and the Working Families Party is currently growing our team and hiring petition circulators to help protect our democracy and make sure truly progressive champions have access to the ballot.The Working Families Party is a grassroots, multiracial party of working people coming together across our differences to make our nation work for the many, not the few. We’re electing the next generation of transformational leaders and building durable, independent progressive power in communities across the country. We can only do this together. Join our team today!A Petition Circulator will:Engage with WFP registered voters in meaningful, one-on-one conversations connecting their values to WFP endorsed candidates who will be champions for economic, social, and racial justiceGather petition signatures to secure ballot access for WFP candidatesWork in a team environment to set and accomplish campaign goalsA Petition Circulator must be one of the following:Be registered as a Democratic voter; orBe a notary or a Commissioner of Deeds; orNot registered to vote in NY yet.Qualifications:People of all experience levels and backgrounds encouraged to apply!Commitment to progressive politics and policiesAbility to knock on an average of 75 doors per shiftGreat communication skillsSmart phone or tabletJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, TemporaryPay: $24.00 per hourSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityLanguage:Bilingual (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Night Shift (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
