Nao Medical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at an exciting stage of our growth. You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing the equipment, goods and materials that are necessary for Nao Medical’s day to day operations – including signage, furniture, construction materials, printed items, branded merchandise and more. You will identify and establish relationships with vendors, place orders, review samples, and ensure the timely delivery of items, as well as coordinate the storage of items as required. You will be responsible for establishing and managing the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of Nao Medical’s procurement system.
Your main responsibilities will include:

Sourcing vendors, drafting and negotiating contracts, and managing the procurement process end to end
Ensuring cost-efficiency without compromising on quality
Establishing and maintaining procurement management and order tracking systems across departments and projects
Liaising between vendors and internal teams to ensure samples are being reviewed and approved in a timely manner
Facilitating delivery of items to the required location(s)
Conducting research to source the best products and supplies with an eye towards value, delivery timelines and quality
Maintain vendor database and contract files
Building and maintaining good relationships with new and existing vendors
Running tenders, evaluating bids and making recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors

Who you are:

You ideally should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a procurement clerk or manager, junior buyer or a related position. A key factor for success in this role is a deep knowledge and familiarity with purchasing and logistics and vendor management. A background or familiarity with the healthcare industry is a plus, but not essential.
To be successful in this role, we believe you should:

Have excellent financial and numerical skills
Have great written and verbal communication skills
Be able to effectively manage budgets and be cost-efficient
Be able to efficiently work across multiple projects and departments and keep projects on track
Have great interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability work collaboratively with internal and external teams
Be extremely organized and detail-oriented
Be able to build and maintain a clear and efficient procurement management and tracking system
Be experienced in negotiating with vendors
Be proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and project and team management softwares such as Asana, Trello, Monday, Slack and Notion.
