Job Description : WHO WE ARE:

UW Medicine Faculty Practice Plan Services (FPPS) supports UW Physicians (UWP), a practice group for more than 1,800 physicians and other healthcare professionals associated with UW Medicine. UW Medicine includes Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center – Montlake, UW Neighborhood Clinics, UW Medical Center – Northwest, the UW School of Medicine, Valley Medical Center, and Airlift Northwest. UWP members also practice at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, a partnership of UW Medicine, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and Seattle Children’s Hospital.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

FPPS has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time (100% FTE, 40 hours/week), Provider Enrollment Clerk. This position is Hybrid Remote – WA State residents only.

WHAT YOU BRING:

High School graduation or equivalent AND one year of experience in patient accounting, customer service, or a related office environment

OR

Equivalent education/experience in a related field

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Sorting, Scanning mail for re-enrollment

Data Entry into MSOW and PETDB

Prepping individual provider packets for Enrollment

Attaches correspondence to the appropriate accounts

Distributes and follows up on incoming faxes and correspondence

Sends invoice/letters to various payers

Submits medical records to various payers

Provide back-up support for other clerical positions.

Perform other duties, as assigned
