SCF’s data-driven, non-revenue approach means that compensation is salary-based, encouraging a practice focused on wellness, not quantity.For a more complete list of the benefits enjoyed by Southcentral Foundation employees visit: SouthcentralFoundation.comPsychiatric Nurse Practitioner: The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) is responsible for providing direct customer-owner care in an assigned area of Behavioral Services.Qualifications: Current Certification by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or American Nurse Credentialing Center, (NP) with added qualifications in psychiatry.Minimum two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a multi-disciplinary setting, with prescriptive privileges OR successful completion of a behavioral health clinical rotation within the Southcentral Foundation system or comparable medical system.Must have current valid Alaska license.Credentialing organization must be covered by requirement of the State of Alaska Board of Nursing.Must be eligible for DEA certification.Meets all requirements to obtain associate medical staff membership and required privileges of service.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty.Specialized expertise in psychopharmacology.Employee Health Requirements: Compliance with our Employee Health Procedure is a condition of SCF employment. You are required to agree that you will comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations prior to your first day of employment.
