Recruit, interview, and assist with the hiring of qualified candidates for all disciplines throughout the company using best practices. Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, posting the job order to maximize visibility, review and track incoming resumes, conduct application and phone screens, schedule interviews, and extend offers/declines to candidates.Learn the Business. Review and understand technical job requirements and skills used throughout every discipline of the company in order to better understand the skills, knowledge, and abilities needed for success at Vulcan Materials Company.Develop and Implement Recruiting Plans. Select recruitment sources and techniques to effectively fulfill business staffing needs. Research and identify innovative and cost-effective advertising platforms and resources.Maintain Documents and Records. Maintain a high-volume ATS database of potential candidates under tight timelines for multiple hiring managers. Manage all new job postings. Assist with background inquiries on candidates including references, verification of employment, and educational degrees. Extend and negotiate offers to candidates and arranges relocation when necessary.Build Relationships. Build and maintain a pipeline of talent to accommodate for current and future business demands. Develop networks utilizing attraction campaigns and digital outreach programs to attract top talent. Work with local schools, professional organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the company and job openings.Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assignedQualifications/Skills You’ll Need: ExperiencePrevious experience as a high-volume recruiter is preferred.Knowledge of Best Practices. Knowledge of general principles and practices of attracting and sourcing candidates is preferred.Knowledge of Industry. Knowledge of the construction or aggregate industry, including knowledge of jobs, equipment, and job duties is preferred.Interpersonal Skills. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with people in all levels of the organization.Integrity. Must act with unyielding integrity and honesty in business transactions, promote company policies, and hold self and other employees accountable.Attention to Detail. Must have a keen attention to detail, especially with typing and administrative tasks requiring a high degree of skill and accuracy.
