Job Description : Aloha! We are a new, fun, boutique style beach gear rental & activities shop in S. Kihei. We offer snorkel gear, surfboards, paddle boards, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, skim boards, GoPro and beyond! The vibe is fun and laidback, and whoever is hired would essentially be working alone. Responsibilities would include educating and setting up guests with snorkel gear and local spots, renting the equipment and offering recommendations, booking activities (whale watched, luaus, snorkel trips, surf lessons, etc!) maintaining the clean organized appearance of the store, answering phone calls, making sure each guest fills out a liability waiver in full, processing online orders (very few currently as our website is not yet finished) and overall just having fun with guests and being yourself. We are looking for someone happy/cheerful, outgoing, passionate about the ocean, Maui, and customer service. Customer service is our top priority and we have a really good relationship with every one of our customers that walks through the door. We super flexible with the schedule but ideally would love someone to be available one day a week or on an as needed basis. It’s slow right now but will pick up so must be comfortable hanging out and doing nothing some days (not too shabby right) or hustling a bit on other days (full transparency!) let’s meet, let’s talk!
