Position : Restoration General Manager
Job Description : We are an established insurance restoration company looking for an experienced, hard-working general manager to join our team. We require that all potential candidates have prior/current experience as a general manager in the restoration industry. The main duties and requirements of this job are listed below; however, duties may vary as needed.QualificationsProven experience as a General Manager or similar executive roleKnowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, marketing, operations etc.). Strong leadership and management skills.Valid driver’s licenseExcellent English written and verbal skillsProficient in technologies such as smartphones, tablets, Microsoft Office, etc.Must be willing to work flexible hours as required by the positionTakes initiative in solving problemsResponsibilitiesGeneral Managers are responsible for sales, production, financial and HR activitiesExpected to provide exceptional customer service and maintain superior client relationships while performing restoration activities for water and fire reconstruction projects.Implement strategic business plans and formulate policiesAllocate budget resources, ensure that company and job budgets are maintained/exceededMeet and exceed company targets for sales, net profit, quality ratings, and customer satisfactionProvide vision, leadership, and discipline regarding long term growthManage and prepare financial reportsHiring, training and motivating team membersReport to CEO regularly about company progress and immediate needs of the organization.The general manager is responsible for oversight of all jobs. This includes monitoring current production reports to ensure that they are on time and within budget. Additionally, the general manager will continually review pending sales to ensure that closing ratios are high, and if not, figure out where the deficiency lies and to develop solutions.The general manager is expected to have the knowledge regarding the developments and current trends in the industry.
