Position : Seasonal FT and PT Servers, $25-35/hr
Job Description : We are looking for Servers and Bartenders at The Hideaway Country Club. We are hiring full and part time year-round positions as well as seasonal positions. We have a full calendar of events left for season and our Servers are a crucial part of making these events memorable for our members and guests!Compensation: Paid a base hourly rate plus a share of gratuity. Total compensation typically is between $25-$35/hr!Hours: Flexible, but must commit to working shifts that include nights, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.Responsibilities: Responsible for providing food and beverage service to club members and guests.Skills and Attributes: Set up side stations and perform assigned side workProvide immediate attention to all members and guests upon seatingRegularly use members’ namesAnswer any questions in relation to menus, specials, wines or cocktailsTake members’ and guests’ orders; suggestively sell food/beverage items and place orders in POS system in a timely mannerEnsure that all charges to member accounts are accurate and completePlace orders with kitchen, inform cooks of any special cooking instructions or allergiesCheck back to ensure member and guest satisfaction; replenish water and butter as necessaryVerify the accuracy of charges and presents billKeep tables, dining room and bus station areas cleanAdvise supervisor or any complaints as soon as they occurPerform clean-up, closing, and banquet set-up as assigned by managerAttend pre-meal and staff meetings as requested by managerPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reachPush, pull or lift up to 50 poundsAbility to carry a trayContinuous repetitive motionsWork in hot, humid, noisy and fast-paced environmentExperience in a country club or golf club environment a plus; however no experience is necessary.The Hideaway Country Club is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hourPhysical Setting:BarCasual dining restaurantFast casual restaurantUpscale casual restaurantSchedule:Day shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayNight shiftWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:All staff are required to wear masks during lunch and dinner service.
