Become part of our team!Hope House Foundation is hiring a full-time Development Coordinator to join our Development and Human Resources teams. The ideal candidate would be a dynamic and talented individual who enjoys using modern media strategies to promote Hope House Foundation to grow relationships in the community, reach potential applicants, and highlight events. The Development Coordinator is an in-person position located out of our administrative office in Norfolk. The position also attends networking events, partners with the Development team on fundraising events, and partners with Human Resources on recruiting events such as job fairs. The role is the lead for agency social media, website maintenance, donor database, as well as supporting general development tasks. This is a non-exempt position that reports directly to the Development Director.The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:30a-4:30p with flexibility for events and meetings.Benefits- 14K in benefits!!!Health insurance includes vision, (up to 93% paid by Hope House)Dental insurance (100% paid by Hope House)Life insurance (100% paid by Hope House)Optional benefits: additional life insurance, disability insurance, and flexible spending accountsGenerous leave including 12 paid holidaysProfit-sharing provided by Hope HouseSalary starts at $37,566.36 annually with benefits.Overview of the job description:WEBSITE:Maintain and ensure website content is current and regularly updatedEnsure inquiries from the website are responded to in a timely manner and the agency is represented accuratelyAssist with regular and timely updates to Press Release and News sections of the websiteDATABASE:Overall management of donor database and annual maintenanceMaintain all donor records, recording all donations and narratives aEnsure all city and state political officials are updated quarterlyCoordinate Capital Campaign pledges, donor maintenance during the campaign, etc. when applicable.Assist with management of MobileCause as it relates to the annual fund and event/volunteer managementSOCIAL MEDIA:Maintain social media communications continuing name awareness, brand positioning, and stream services/industry happeningsMaintain social media communications/donations as it relates to Giving Tuesday and GiveLocal757Coordinate and implement social media content, connection and responds to all social media messagesEVENT SUPPORT:Screen calls Stockley Gardens Arts Festival & Chelsea West Fest based on FAQsEnsure all check requests are completed for advertising, police officers, bands, rentals, and other event-related bills as they arise.Ensure all event volunteer hours are recorded.Attend events as needed.Help with Annual Dinner admin tasks.Job Type: Full-timePay: $37,566.30 – $37,566.36 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Signing bonusExperience:Databases: 1 year (Preferred)Social media marketing: 1 year (Preferred)Human Resources: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
