Job Description : When applying, please submit a cover letter with salary requirements and a resume in order to be considered.RELATIONSHIP: Reports to Director of Brand Marketing & CommunicationsGENERALDESCRIPTION: Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt PositionRESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Embrace Playhouse Square values and programs that further Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the department.2. Develop and implement Playhouse Square social media and blog strategy.3. Ensure brand consistency across Playhouse Square social media channels and blog through tone, voice, copy and imagery.4. Monitor trends, user engagement and audience preferences to inform content optimization.5. Manage reporting on results and performance comparisons to the executive level.6. Seek out stories and continually pursue new opportunities to advance the Playhouse Square brand. Capture quality content during shows, marketing events and institutional initiatives.7. Engage followers, respond to inquiries in a timely manner and monitor guest reviews.8. Adhere to Playhouse Square brand standards.9. Other departmental projects as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Exceptional writing skills with ability to adapt across platforms from tweets to blog posts. Writing samples required.2. Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization and measuring, tracking and reporting results, plus undergraduate degree in related field.3. Working knowledge of photography, video editing, graphic image manipulation, content marketing, branding and influencer curation.4. Strong knowledge of existing social media platforms and trends.5. Curious with the ability to uncover and tell stories, and to generate original concepts as well as work with the ideas of others.6. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible. Available to work some evenings and weekends for marketing events.7.
