The role provides the candidate to leverage multiple technologies in the Intelligent Process Automation stack to solve complex business problems and accelerate the adoption of Data and Digital in Novartis.

The focus of the Service Delivery Expert is to manage the planning, design and build of IT solutions, based on functional specifications, while meeting quality and performance requirements and technical constraints. It also involves managing the scheduling and deployment of IT solutions across multiple countries and/or functions.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ensure that system designs adhere to solution architecture design (i.e. high level conceptual design) and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements in projects/enhancementsEnsure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of solutionsEnsure system design standards are defined to improve and sustain standardization of solutionsEnsure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the architecture handbookSupport scoping, fit-gap workshops for projects/enhancements, propose solutions for key gaps, provide effort estimations and alignment with business teamsEnsure that project/enhancements work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality constraints following the release calendarsEnsure that developed solutions are peer reviewed, formally documented and signed off by business.

Minimum requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
Bachelor degree in engineering (BE/BTech) or MCA in computer science or related area
A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Solution Design and Delivery roles with at least 1-2 years of experience developing solutions using the IPA tech stack (Appian, RPA)
Experience with at least one large implementation with exposure to end-to-end lifecycle (from inception of project to delivering the application). Advanced business analyst and technology skills
Capable of running and leading a small to medium sized group of development and support teams (both vendors and Business SME’s) as a Team lead (8+). Advanced Agile and hybrid SDLC experience
Exhibits awareness and advanced thinking around larger architectural and business drivers and leads the charge to bring about changes to the do-main/enterprise architecture and solutions accordingly.
Excellent communication, collaboration, facilitation and business partnership capabilities. Organize/run Innovation networks, drive innovations discussions & PoC’s, lead associates working on Innovations tasks. Be a thought leader in a technology/functional domain to drive Innovation.
