Do you want your fair share of the profits from a fast-growing company?DriveCentric is a premier customer relationship management (CRM) and internet marketing company that connects automotive dealerships to customers in innovative, award-winning ways.We’re seeking a technical business analyst with a software development background (preferably .NET) to uncover requirements, document technical scope, design technical solutions, and serve as a resource for highly technical projects such as 3rd party integrations, development tools, and automation systems.NOTE: Only applicants that have developed software within the last year, professionally or personally, will be considered.Responsibilities:Produce functional designs and wireframes for internal web-based tools within the Engineering group.Analyze 3rd party APIs, and other methods of data exchange, required for projects.Produce data maps between source and target systems.Communicate with 3rd party vendors and partners to address technical questions, issues, or requests.Schedule, plan, and lead requirement gathering and review meetings. Communicate key decisions and action items.Analyze existing software applications to understand and document functionality.Work with Product Owners, Design, and Development to convert business requirements into a developer-friendly specification.Assist Product Owners in scope validation for completed development work.Suggest alternate paths when requirements can’t be met within project constraints.Take a proactive role in promoting and enforcing effective requirements gathering and documentation practices.Assist in writing product documentation and training materials as needed.Requirements:2+ years of experience developing software applications and supporting in a production environment.2+ years of experience uncovering and writing detailed technical requirements.Ability to quickly learn new systems and understand where/how that system fits in the bigger picture of the organization.Skilled in exhaustively questioning stakeholders to uncover objectives, requirements, and edge cases.Experienced in wireframing web-based tools.Exhibit exceptional attention to detail and risk management.Proven ability to resolve conflict in team and one-on-one situations.Ability to balance business and technical objectives when making decisions.Ability to balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication, problem solving, and analytical skills is a must.Have a positive, can-do attitude.Pluses:Experience with Axure or similar wireframing tools.Experience with devising and running workshops to uncover objectives, identify functional requirements, map process flows, etc.Experience with software documentation techniques such as user stories, user personas, process/activity diagramming, etc.Experience with analysis techniques such as SWOT, Ishikawa, brainstorming, use case modelling, etc.Benefits:Competitive salaryHealth, Vision, and Dental Insurance (eligible on day 1)401K with matching up to 4%9 company holidays + 12 vacation days in first yearAmple professional growth opportunitiesJob Type: Full-timePay: Up to $140,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: Remote
