Job Description : Western Veterinary Partners is searching for a remote veterinary recruiting specialist to help us attract, hire, and engage with the best people in the veterinary industry. This individual will assist the Director of Recruiting, manage and expand day-to-day support staff recruiting activities, and partner with the Operations and Human Resources teams.The Ideal Candidate:Located in Missouri, Texas, Ohio (Midwest)College degree1-3 years of work experience in recruitment concepts, practices, and proceduresExperience in the veterinary industry (vet tech, vet assistant, or practice management)Excellent organization skills and attention to detail for tasksStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skillsA positive, can-do attitude!Your Responsibilities:Update and maintain the use of the ATS by the hiring managers and hospital teamsAssist the practices with candidate sourcing when neededProvide leadership and advice to hiring managers and interview teamsSupport and implement employee engagement activities (welcoming new team members, tracking promotions/employee referrals, and acknowledging work anniversaries)Oversee new hire on-boarding for support staff positions including drafting offer letters, new hire paperwork, and being the point of contactHandle career fair registration, coordination, and supportIdentify useful key trends to improve the onboarding experienceEnsure that candidate information is kept up to date and handled correctly in the ATSKeep job postings up to dateRun queries and standard reports in the ATSRespond to student inquiries (emails and phone calls) and redirect as appropriateDirectly support the Recruiting team with various activities as neededWestern Veterinary Partners is a veterinary support organization that acquires and partners with leading veterinarians throughout the Western United States.
