Job Description : Paul Mitchell The School Jacksonville is seeking a highly qualified Admissions LeaderJOB SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVEThe Admissions Leader is responsible for supporting in providing information to potential students and their families about the admissions process, the admission requirements, the available programs of study, and the school and its facilities and resources.The Admissions Leader is responsible to manage the workflow and processes of the Admissions Team.He or she is also responsible for the oversight of and training all admission activities to meet compliance expectations. The Admissions Leader will lead and organize all recruitment events, such as the National Open House and high school career fairs.A successful candidate will have strong communication and presentation skills to ensure that prior to a prospective student’s commitment to enroll, the prospective student fully understands the requirements for admission, realizes the program expectations, and has complete and accurate information about available resources.He or she must also have an unwavering commitment to providing exceptional customer service, following the law, and abiding by diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMonitors and manages daily admission workflow and processesProvides oversight and training to the Admission AdvisorsConducts tours for prospective students and their familiesUnderstands and ensures all policies and procedures are followedUnderstands and ensures compliance standards are metKnows and understands the school’s education programsProvides prospective students and their families with appropriate, accurate, timely, and clear informationConducts daily and weekly Team Huddle, Town Hall, and staff training.Conducts professional development training for current studentsUpdates and manages the lead database in the CRMFollows up with prospective students via phone, text, and emailFollows communication procedures, guidelines, and policiesWorks with teams to promote best practicesPerforms other duties as assignedBEHAVIORS AND COMPETENCIESStrong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse communityAbility to develop and deliver presentationsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingKnowledge of programs/services available to the studentsKnowledge of customer service standards and proceduresKnowledge of community outreach practicesAbility to process computer data and to format and generate reportsKnowledge of student recruitment and retention issuesAbility to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and proceduresAbility to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusionsAbility to work effectively with diverse populationsAbility to evaluate student transcripts and/or recordsIs a self-starter and can work independentlyEDUCATION/EXPERIENCEFour+ years of experience in customer service, training, or advisory roles or sufficient transferable experience to demonstrate practical equivalenceAssociate’s degree requiredBachelor’s degree preferredPaul Mitchell The School Jacksonville is an equal opportunity employer.Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftWeekend availabilityEducation:Associate (Required)Experience:Customer service: 4 years (Required)Academic Admissions Coordinators & Registrars: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
