Every day we know we are part of something important; restoring hope in people who need it.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: General procurement activitiesSupport with maintenance of approved supplier listReport supply chain performance to suppliers and take action as needed to achieve goalsEstablish and maintain positive, professional working relationships with suppliersSupport AS9100 Quality Management System requirements and follow outlined processes and proceduresNegotiate and maintain supplier LTAsFacilitate supplier non-conformance communicationsManage Orion procurement activities using Epicor ERPReview MRP for purchased product, verify and resolve demandSelect sources and issue purchase orders of supply for raw materials, purchase complete components, services and outside processes to qualified suppliersMaintain purchased cost & supplier data in EpicorParticipate in quoting process for manufactured itemsAssess customer requirements utilizing drawings, specifications, and workmanship standardsParticipate in make/buy decisions by providing supplier cost and capability informationAssess supplier risk based on previous performance, capabilities, and any available supplier dataProvide estimated material cost, outside processing cost and lead time for use in quoting processGeneralModel proper work ethics and behaviorsSupport all members of the Manufacturing and Orion team fully to achieve company, departmental, and personal goals and objectivesParticipate in team and company meetings as requiredFacilitate departmental and company projects as requiredOther DutiesThis job description is designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
