Job Description : Cultivation Technician*In order to be considered for this position, you must apply at https://rpo.paydaypayroll.net/RPO/Applicant/Posting.aspx?JobPostingID=89699510-b37d-4439-ad69-eb73552dfa4dPosition SummaryCultivation Technicians provide all essential plant care functions within the Cultivation Department under the guidance and supervision of the Cultivation Department management team, in accordance with Cultivation Department SOPs and Harvest Lot Notebooks. Daily tasks include feeding and watering plants according to the feeding schedules identified by the Vice President and Director of Cultivation, pruning, weighing/destroying/recording waste, cleaning cultivation areas, cloning and planting, and caring for living soil beds.Once individual skill sets have been identified, Cultivation Technicians will be assigned to a specific team that operates (2) cultivation rooms under the direct supervision of a Cultivation Team Lead. It’s essential that Cultivation Techs protect the garden by keeping clothing and tools clean and well-organized, and that all feeding and plant care tasks are performed with care and in keeping with Company policies.Job Duties/Essential FunctionsPerforming plant care tasks and facility maintenance as directed by Team Lead and Director of Cultivation, including watering, measuring nutrients, pruning, destroying waste, and keeping records.Keeping clothing and tools clean and well-organizedContributing to a healthy and compliant atmosphere in the Cultivation DepartmentEssential Job Functions: Ability to accurately perform the functions within the garden as directed by the Director of Cultivation.Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely.Ability to stand for 8+ hours per dayConducting oneself professionally and with good common sense.Non-Essential FunctionsAbility to assist in electronic record-keeping such as METRC.Experience, skills, education & licenses/certificationsRequired: High School Diploma or GED preferred.Ability to pass criminal background check.Ability to pass drug screening.Must be current on annual safety training within 30 days of hire.Recommended: Experience in any relevant trades, including horticulture, food handling, etc.Management will review the Job Analysis for this position prior to a job offer.Apart from any religious or disability considerations, open availabilityis needed to meet the needs of the business.If hired, you will be required to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.As a condition of employment, FarmaceuticalRX requires all new hires to be fully vaccinated from COVID-19, barring an approved exemption.*In order to be considered for this position, you must apply at https://rpo.paydaypayroll.net/RPO/Applicant/Posting.aspx?JobPostingID=89699510-b37d-4439-ad69-eb73552dfa4dJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityApplication Question(s):”What about the role excites you and motivated you to apply?
